Hey All,
As I said in a posting to that very thread that Neil mentioned, years ago, anyone with access to a modern copy machine could scan the entirety of Electronotes and convert it to PDFs in about a day. I know that this is beyond the capabilities of Bernie Hutchins, but honestly, it would not be that hard. Even the fact that Electronotes is printed double-sided poses no challenge for a modern Xerox machine, although it does take a bit longer. Hell, the machines in my department office at school will even email the completed PDFs to you when they are done.
The hardest part would be removing the industrial-grade staples from the printed stacks and making sure that the paper sheets feed into the scanner nicely and don't stick together at the staple holes. Even is some of the more well-loved parts had to be hand-fed into the scanner, it could still all be done in a matter of hours.

It seems like there wasn’t a general consensus on what should be done. I find it a terrible shame that people who want access to the materials and are willing to pay for them are unable to find them anywhere.
Seeking all advice on the topic.
I am hesitant to share with anybody, even if they can prove ownership, but if Bernie is not able or willing to distribute them, it seems like time for a new path.
I will try to get in touch with him directly, but I have a feeling that he hasn’t suddenly had a change of heart regarding PDFs.
I am unable to proceed alone in this decision. Once it is released into the wild, there is no taking that PDF back!
Regards,
Austin
