200pF/m will give you good insight of what might happen in the most
random and unsuitable cables people might try to use.
I haven't seen any optocoupler's LED damage yet, but surprisingly the
resistor damage - yes. The 220 ohm one that goes from +5V to pin 4.
Someone connected some live voltage there accidentaly and it went poof.
