Some more feedback along these lines: Knowing the exact value of a
parameter at all times usually isn't necessary. Like Elektron, you could
overlay the value on the knob or replace the parameter name only when the
value is changing (+ short timeout). This will free up some vertical
space, but depending on the library might be clunky with the redraw? With a
sans-serif font and consistent parameter name length I think the 2"
diagonal screen could be pretty good.

I'm interested in seeing how your project pans out and will follow these
threads closely since I'm also starting to get more interested in using
teensy/etc for various projects.
