The DX7 LCD/LED window begs to differ. They used double-sided tape
(think scotch tape, not foamy tape) and it's still quite difficult to
remove many decades later. And it's not visible because, as someone
pointed out, you need to step the window to allow for the thickness of
the metal (window is mounted from behind).
