[sdiy] Unique sounding modules that can't have voltage control?

Not saying it can't be done, but I've never seen the Baxandall done with VCAs in a digitally recallable analogue mixer.

I have seen other more complex forms of filter such as in the paper Neil sent out used, but more often digitally stepped Baxandall (with the usual additions for extra slope and variable frequency) are used.

I got a feeling a Baxandall is going to be a real pain to get under control with a 2164, but probably easier than tuning a Twin T ...

OTOH the response of a Twin-T can be redesigned using another filter topology that is suitable for using VCAs instead of being optimized for low component count and passives.

At least if it's fairly linear.

(Perhaps the same with the Baxandall?)
