hmm... i guess i can see how connecting one module's output to one
other module's input will be different than multing out to multiple
modules, IF we're not using a low z output into high z input system
and therefore output capacitance and the various inputs create a
first-order high pass filter.

however, we're not replacing a front-panel parameter that is on a
resistive knob, with an active component, in order to implement CV
control.

so, nope! good try though.
