Interesting topic!
In software-based systems, we look to define a way to dial up a chaotic effect with some normalized range of values. In hardware-based systems, we may include a knob that is neither normalized nor voltage-controlled to stir the chaos pot.
I like the design compromises in nonlinearcircuits modules but I admit I do not own any. Loved reading the guide for bong0.
