[sdiy] Unique sounding modules that can't have voltage control?

I never found a satisfactory vc method for the Starve control on my
simple Weevil designs - how a couple of CMOS chips would behave when the
power line had a pot inline. It always seemed like it'd be a simple
enough thing to control, but nothing seemed to bring out the weird
worlds like a regular pot.
