AFAIR Mike Engelhardt once said, he had updated the user interface only of the Mac version, but not of the Windows version as well, because too many users would complain then. So, the Mac user interface is an update of the Windows user interface.

In fact, I like the Mac user interface better. It’s much less cluttered, and everything is still there, under the right mouse button. Yes, I know, die-hard Mac fans don’t use the right mouse button ;-)
