So does it make a difference what the phase of the squarewave is when you add it?

I'm trying to remember how the sawtooth and sawtooth+square on the Juno 106 looks, having recently been poking around with a sillyscope in there. Its output is AC-coupled so it's unlikely to make much difference to a valve amp :-)
