Yes it works well over WiFi.  But are you using a private WiFi for it, or sharing with other stuff ?

Slightly off topic post but I'll try anyway:

Can anybody answer some basic questions about rtpMIDI from Tobias Erichsen?

Is it supposed to work well over WiFi or is it meant just for wired
networks? I've had some good and bad results when using it over WiFi. I
haven't tried using ethernet cables yet. I assume results will be good.
Errors I've seen using WiFi relate mostly to timing (plausibly expected
but unwelcomed) and rare instances of silence or gaps (not expected).
Usually timing sounds about right but not always.
