I feel I should point out that in 35 years of repairing electronic equipment, I've replaced maybe a dozen faulty electrolytics of which six were in the same EDP Gnat.

This of course leaves out Amstrad SRD1000 and family satellite receivers, which I have rebuilt dozens of power supplies in, but I'm not counting cheap shitty SMPSUs.

If you have a faulty synth, the fault is never, *ever* going to be "bad caps".

I charge extra to look at anything that's ever been "re-capped" for a good reason.
