Here is what I finally bought
https://syntheway.com/H-Tonk-Tack-Piano.htm
3 very good sounding Honky Tonk samples !
Tack Piano
Western Saloon Piano
Jangle Honky Tonk (detuned samples)
All the samples are .WAV files and because I also use
GigaStudio type samplers on my PC I’ve been able
to convert these 3 libraries to .GIG format using Awave Studio converter.
Thanks to you all for your support..

In case you own a Nord instrument: the Nord piano library contains a 'Tack piano'.

The metalic sounding piano I’m looking for is like the one
Keith Emerson played on the last part of his ELP song ‘The Sheriff’`.

And as Chris suggested :
>> Try layering two piano samples and detune them generously against each other. Instant honky tonk.
I did that and had a kind of chorusing piano sound at the end.. Not quite what I expected..
Maybe the detuning I used was not enough detuned..

Jean-Pierre,
The metallic sound you seek is possibly a Tack Piano?
https://www.pianobook.co.uk/packs/the-helm-yamaha-tack-piano/
Has a free library (requires registration)
It's ~500mb
Has individual WAV samples sensibly named
It's moderately plinky-plunky.
There are other detuned and novelty piano sample sets on that site for free download.
Hope that helps
