[sdiy] Modular synth manufacturer's association

not sure if that's the same, but there was a "coordination" group, 
moderated by an (now ex) Schneider's employee. last time I asked him 
where that effort went, he said "nowhere..". herding cats is probably 
more relaxing ;)
