Do you mean the ARM M4 based range ?   That's on the same process as their automotive MCUs and the EU more or less told them to direct all capacity to those.

Some of their other ranges are available though, but if porting then the STM devices seem most available, whilst Infineon are just forget it.

Does anyone know what's happening with NXP's Kinetis range of ARM-based
microcontrollers?

They've been unavailable for nearly 3 years and supplier delivery dates
suggest that's going to persist for another year.  It looks like NXP have
thrown its Kinetis users under the bus!?

I'm just wondering if anyone else is patiently waiting with fingers crossed,
or just expecting them to be EOL'd any day now :(
