That's right, I'm not a member of 303 cult :-)
Neither in the 106 cult. Actually I've  made hundreds of 80017 clones 
with LM13700 and noone noticed any difference...
I know the history of LM13700, read that article couple of years ago.

If only 13700 or 3080 was available in 3mm QFN...
