[sdiy] Transporting line level audio in home / buzz-free USB wall warts?

I agree that Sonos or some other networked home audio system is probably
the most elegant solution for this. The engineering is already done, most
are readily available and there's a bunch of different options.There are
many "best Sonos alternatives" lists to explore.

DIY option - If you search "DIY sonos raspberry pi" there should be a
handful of results

info on using Pi Musicbox or other software, but you'd still have to add a
speaker per unit, and RPi's aren't as cheap as they used to be.

other DIY zero latency option with decent audio quality... get a small FM
transmitter and some radios :)
