[sdiy] Transporting line level audio in home / buzz-free USB wall warts?

We have been sending line level audio around outdoor performances for years.
The signal path is simple.
Source => DI Box => Balanced cable => (mixer or another DI Box)
Balanced signal paths are king. Simple as that
As evidenced by the famous HumBucker pickups.
