Hi list,

 

Aluminum Polymer vs Aluminum Electrolytic capacitors..



Polymer types seem to be good candidates over Electrolytics caps
for new designs.. ? (no possible leakages while aging)

But any hidden downsides.. ?

 

What are your experience using them ? 
Specialy in vintage synths to replace tantalums
or SMPS to replace electrolytics ?
