Generally on analogue mixers all the random leds other than fixed on/off ones are driven in the same manner using a constant current tree, even if unrelated to each other. On digital ones, they are quite often bidirectional leds so all you do is flip around the led supply to get a different colour (good/not good) so the heat doesn't build up inside the unit quite so much.
