Is there a difference between:
Reply to synth-diy at synth-diy.org
and
Reply All to synth-diy at synth-diy.org?

it would confuse existing users, both users of this list, and users of mailman lists in general. it's always "reply all" on all mailman lists i've been to if you want to reply to the list. the users Doing It Wrong need to get their act together :)
