[sdiy] Missing emails in SDIY discussion threads...?

Hi,

sorry to bother the list with a question like this, but I sometimes seem to
miss some of the emails. I only see them quoted in other people's
subsequent emails. (Note sure if there are even more, unquoted, which I
then never see.) Btw nothing is hidden away in Gmail's spam either.

First I thought it was because of someone pressing "reply" to the person
instead of "reply" to the list, and that some other nice person then
replied to that with the list address included. But looking closely it
seems like the quoted emails were indeed actually sent to the list.

Are there any known cases of Mailman failing to distribute messages to all
list members? Or is something wrong in my end? Sorry again to take up the
bandwidth.

Here's a recent example from the ongoing "20 ms delay" discussion thread. I
didn't receive the emails from Mike Bryant and Neil Johnson (except as
quoted in Grant's email below), but the other ones in the discussion
arrived:

That's not analogue though, it's acoustic :-)

20ms is only about 6m or so. Get creative with some plywood, foam, a
speaker and a microphone.
