[sdiy] unknown synth pcbs

They might be DIY from a magazine design or similar. I remember photocopying PCBs designs from magazines onto clear acetate to expose onto PCBs, back in the day. I don't remember toner transfer back then, but maybe I just didn't have the right kit!

Question is...which magazine?
