Yes but 20 years ago it was a cent per passive and 0.5 cents for mounting at a major mixer company.

Amazes you in what way?

0.1 cent per passive and 0.3 cents each for mounting them... is what I heard some 7 years ago. Not sure how that compares to current (or voltage!) prices. :-)
