[sdiy] (Was) PCM1702 DAC fakes ? or not ?? . . PCM1702 vs PCM1702U ????

I have the Burr-Brown PCM1702 datasheet attached and cannot find the difference between
PCM1702 vs PCM1702U parts..
The sheet says that PCM1702U part is marked as PCM1702 on the package.
But I could clearly see on the web both printings available..
PCM1702U printed (like those I bought) looks like fake to me..
The PCM1702 printed version is what was installed in the Clavinova !
