[sdiy] 74HC165 vs CD4021..

I’m about to use 11 x  8bits parallel in to serial out shift registers for a project.

So far my choice would be between 74HC165 vs CD4021..
any suggestions ?

I read over the past that HC series was sturdier than CD series for longevity/reliability.. 😉

Your opinion on that.. ?
