[sdiy] Question about LM336

I thought it was low-impedance output with specs similar to the TL431.

Hey SDIY Team,

Here's a quick technical question about the LM336 5V voltage reference.

Do you ever use it without an opamp buffer?  I have always buffered it, but I'm gathering that this is not strictly necessary.
