That's not relay, Recom does not make relays. That's switching regulator.
Aparently something is very wrong with your Pod. What I would do is try first with beefy bench supply and monitor current draw. Either it will burn or you'll be able to see where the problem is. But AFAIK you're on the road so any of that is just pointless rambling.
You can check the board for any hidden barely visible shorts in soldering.
