[sdiy] Powering 4ms pod

It might be worth powering the PSU up with it disconnected so that it's 
output caps can charge up and then connect it to the 4ms Pod.
There might be enough charge present to overcome any turn-on surge and 
allow the pod to power up.
You might get a little spark as it makes connection.

As others have said, though, maybe best get a different power supply. 
Still, would be nice to know the root cause of the problem.
