The archive has no problem with larger attachments. Disk is cheap, and it does not pose any additional load on the CPU. Traffic on the server should be no problem either.
Some stats:
- The current archive of 27 years is ca. 1.2 GB, of which 150 MB are attachments. I currently have 20 GB free on that disk.
- Traffic (on a pooled 10 GB connection) varies between 80 - 150 GB/month out of a 5 TB maximum.
