[sdiy] Carbon film resistors

Hi , all.
I'm about to build some single sided through hole pcb's.
Hoping to make the boards look as close to the original as possible.
The 1/2-watt carbon film seem to fit the bill.
I got three quotes.
Element 14 was way cheaper.
They supply "MultiComp pro" for 3 cents each.
Mouser supply "TE connectivity" for 19 cents each.
Futurlec supply "Royal Ohm" for 15 cents each.
Remembering the adage----you only get what you pay for.
Has anyone had any experience with the MultiComp pro  brand?
