How sad! I read on FB that only recently he was at Superbooth, and I found an interview with him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYGhzRrQHmY

His Prophet 5 and the work he has done on Midi alone makes him a figure of great importance to the synthesizer/keyboard world. The amount of products he put out, and all his collaborations are also staggering. What a great life!
