[sdiy] Breaking news: synthCube to acquire Small Bear

Was that before the latest regulations ? They can't even send small quantities of stuff to the UK or I think most of the EU now unless they've registered for VAT. If it's under £175 (?) and the VAT isn't paid in advance it just gets binned at customs.

Buying bits from Small Bear to UK was always very straight forward, even in (small-scale) production quantities - though there were only a few lines I used them for.
Sent with USPS, sometimes I was hit for import VAT but nothing untoward.

I've never bought from them as I don't do analogue synths and I'm in the UK, but I do wish them good luck. I did want to buy a Fatar keybed from Synthcube and they did try hard to come up with a solution but in the end the myriad of VAT laws here defeated them.
