Shitty manufacturing is everywhere. IIRC Nonlinearcircuits stopped selling their gorgeous aluminium panels many years back because the (Australian) suppliers appeared unable to produce them without fatal scratches
(Now they’re having a hard time getting large unscratched PCB panels from JLCPCB…)
