Yes the MeanWells are fine, but they will be designed to just pass the regulations as a one-off. If they didn't do that then someone would undercut them. But if you need two or more of them then you really will find it much harder to pass.

I have designed in a few smaller (15 to 100-ish Watts) Mean Well power supplies in various measuring equipment. In my experience, the outputs are clean enough for our application and don’t need much (if any) filtering. (Plus we often have additional POL regulators anyway.) The problem I see each and every time though, is that any noise generated in whatever is on the DC side, goes right back through the PSU and onto the mains supply lines.
So, we add a ferrite ring on the DC output, a common mode inductor on the AC input, and 2 Y caps, also on the AC input, to earth. Just to make sure the (e.g.) CPU clock doesn’t feed right back into the mains and makes the EMC test fail.
Not sure if this problem is specific to Mean Well, but the price is right.
