Yes, that so called "life" gets here and there all the time uninvited, 
and ruins everything.
Speaking of smaller circuits, my last build is 10x8mm :)

Do you still have that MX73? It's never too late. People are massively 
making DIY polysynths now like TB303 clones in the 90's.
