Yes, this is great service. You can also sign up for notification when out
of stock part becomes available. I have spent thousands o dollars there.

Unfortunately they don't accept paypal anymore.

Hello SDIY team,
 
I'm in the market for various ICs, and a recent visit to Octopart.com
suggested that I could buy directly from Texas Instruments.  Looking at
their website, it would appear as if their prices are very competitive with
the lowest prices I'm finding anywhere else.
 
I'm just wondering, have any of you ever ordered directly from TI, and if
so, was it a good experience?
