In Moog's defence, they sent me a new analogue board for my Voyager free of charge. It was long out of warranty and they had zero obligation to pay for anything. My Model-D re-issue is a masterpiece. At first I was a little bummed out by the external power supply but now I see the wisdom of that design choice. Re-capping power supplies has become a boring chore. As far as distant future repairs go, its a known design, none of the parts are a mystery, its a finite process to uncover a problem and Moog are good folk. There is magic yet in France. Go to the Fêtes Johanniques in Reims. I strongly suspect their druid is alive and cozy.

There is that master druid in the big forest who knows everything, but nothing is writen down. If that druid forgets something it will be lost forever. That’s why the French don’t have that magic potion any longer.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asterix_and_the_Missing_ScrollIngo
