So weird Brian.
I was talking about these yesterday afternoon. I have never heard them mentioned before now. TLE2062 is used a bunch in the OB-MX, which of course was designed for Gibson/Oberheim by Don Buchla using many parts they already had(or so the story goes). Since Don never used anything besides TL082 and TL062 starting in about 1975 (OK an LM301 here and there), I was trying to figure out why he used those here (They are 10x the price after all). It could be that this was not on his dime, so he used what he really wanted to. It could be that they already had them. It could be that he always wanted to use them, and it was the first chance he got (it was 1994). Anyway, it seems that with them he got the low power benefit of the TL062 and the higher slew rate of the TL082 all in one overpriced package. There are 20 per voice card. With 6 cards in there, the current would start to add up…
