I definitely see the inconvenience in that, but I do not have a solution. (See my other message for the reason for this.)

It’s a problem for many mailing lists. If there are Mailman (V2) guru’s here I’m open to suggestions. I have to upgrade to V3 anyway, but I don’t think it would handle this in a better way.
