[sdiy] touch-sensitive switches - how?

Interesting stuff Does this work OK for repairing key contacts? I have a
DX21 with some dead keys and AFAIK the keybed consists of long rubber
contact strips. I was thinking of trying a TV Remote Control Repair Kit.
