This is the problem with TB303 "clones".  Folk reckon that this one is better than that one, and the one over there with the discrete VCA nearly nails the classic TB303 sound but this one with a different VCA is totally wrong, and that other with the super-matched transistors is perfect.

They were built out of floor-sweepings grade parts.  They were shit.

And no two sounded even vaguely the same.
