[sdiy] ALFA clone chips?

I go the other way.

Either they didn't test the 3340 good enough or they knew about the PWM 
issues and released it. So I ask myself do they know what they are doing 
and what other parts have issues they either know or don't know about. 
I'd rather spend the money and get parts from a company that know what 
they are doing.
