[sdiy] Cheapest good sounding digital reverb?

I recently used a Chinese module based on the Coolaudio V-1000 aka Wavefront AL3201 chip which is the other Alesis designed chip next to the FV-1 above. Also a bit pricier though as a module below but you could also source the chips. 
You can get the chip, the adc dac chip (cirrus logic  cs4220) and an atmel chip on one board including a fx selection knob for 99 effects. 24bit resolution, amazing reverbs including gated. Added it to my Linndrum project based on a Sparkfun sampling module...
