I expect most demonstrations would just indicate why we ended up with equal temperament. It's only when you get pieces written for a particular scale that you can hear their advantages.

Sorry to drift away from the topic, but that page of intervals seems (to me) to be begging for a software program that demonstrates each of these intervals on demand.
But how would you demonstrate these intervals? Let's assume you have a synth that could produce the precise intervals... would you play chords with these intervals? ... or would you play trills? Maybe something else? Maybe all of the above?
