[sdiy] How has the impact been on you guys out there making and selling modules.?

I also sell various things, just to individuals on a one-off basis. The
biggest problem for me has been the fact that I have been (and continue to
be) extremely busy with my day-job (I'm an engineering professor), and this
has caused delays in my own personal output. In fact, I can't think of a
time in my career when I've been busier.

The other issue I'm facing is that mailing has become incredibly slow. I
just use Canada Post, and getting a package to Europe now takes weeks.

[CAUTION: Non-UBC Email]

I do sell dotcom modules PCB’s and front panel layouts from my own

Modular designs. People on this list (and other forums) contact me

For quotes. That does not have a big impact on my work but it’s gratifying.

All my synth modules and other projects files are open source anyway..

How has the impact been on you guys out there making and selling modules

I noticed that many Eurorack modules are no longer in stock at dealers due
to parts supply issues and shipping delays

Personally simple Fedex trips are taking weeks instead of days

Cheers David
