Hi Andy,

It's great to hear the views and experience of a man who uses this stuff in 
anger!

Very good points, particularly the bit about the potential for aliasing when 
applying digital distortion if it isn't *done properly*.  I didn't really 
explain that well.  It isn't inevitable, and there are ways to mitigate 
this.

The analogue distortion comparison is interesting.  The difference looks 
subtle, but it's definitely there.
