[sdiy] Cooling in modular synths

That would mean each cabinet is up to, what, 36W? 45W? Given the
outside area of the cabinet I wouldn't think that it needs cooling,
yeah.
So why do older polysynths need cooling? Was semiconductor technology
just loads more inefficient?
