I’ve always looked for articles about capacitors for audio, and have a few I can share.
The first is a two-part series by Walter Jung and Richard Marsh, “Picking Capacitors" in Audio Magazine, from way back in February and March, 1980.
https://vdocuments.mx/picking-capacitors.html
The second is WAN_0176 from Wolfson Microelectronics, “A.C. Coupling Capacitor Selection”
https://dtsheet.com/doc/1414867/wan_0176-a.c.-coupling-capacitor-selection
The third is a short treatise on how a capacitor’s type influences dielectric absorption, "On Capacitor Dielectric Materials - A Chemist's View” by Karl A. Weber, Ph.D.
https://audience-av.com/oem-diy-parts/axo_description/a_chemistview-html/
The fourth is "Signal distortion from high-K ceramic capacitors” by John Caldwell, Analog Applications Engineer, Texas Instruments - from EDN.com, June 16, 2013

They all generally rank various capacitors in audibility. It’s interesting to see the types of tests and conclusions these different authors make.
