TI have quite a few, but start at the TLV320AIC3256.

They use the PurePath development system

Do you recall the TI part? I haven’t looked at them seriously yet. Do they have a similar programming interface, maybe Audioweaver or something? For my work right now I am investigating ANR solutions. The actual programming of these would go to someone else - I just am investigating what is being done. There was one called RNnoise that was impressive.

It's a bit frustrating getting Sigma Studio going at first - it's not the most intuitive of software packages - but by flicking around the pages you should get something going. I think there are sine and other (possibly non-band-limited) waveform generators in there somewhere.

Any of you have experience with it and whether someone like me with very poor math and programming background could get some enjoyment trying an eval board with one? I suppose I’d be willing to try learning basics with a decent book… There are so many different chips that I’m overwhelmed. I see diy board offerings for boom boxes that are amazingly cheap - Google Wondom DSP. I also have a daisy board but don’t have the programming skills to get anywhere with it. I haven’t given up - just distracted now by this as we may use one at work.
